A different man in Red

For the holidays my school took part in the winter wishes program which provides students with gifts. The students wrote letters asking for certain items and these amazing companies responded by purchasing them for the students. It was such an awesome thing to see kids get presents they would normally never dream of getting. It would have made the grinchiest grinch's heart expand.

After the vacation i did a lesson with my class to write thank you notes. Some of the kids got the lesson while others, not so much. For homework their assignment was to write a letter thanking the company for sending them gifts. My personal favorite was by my student, T who neatly (a rareity) wrote a beautiful thank you note until i noticed who he wrote it to. In big bold letters it said "DEAR SATAN"....nice
